Easter is always a time of reflection for me. On this day 42 years ago I was sitting in a Year 12 history class discussing Napoleon and the Battle of Waterloo when our teacher was interrupted by a sheepish looking Deputy who as it turned out was asking the teacher in a whisper, to send me to the Principal's office.... over this weekend I will share the story of my brother's death on this Thursday before Easter and its consequent domino effect on my life journey... It turned out to be a dramatic change in my life which had a ripple effect leading to both grief and gratitude... unexpected journeys often have secret destinations that take us by surprise and eventually lead to transformation.... stay tuned over the weekend as I have more to say on this and it relevance to current world events.
I wish you a relaxing and renewing Easter weekend!

Wayne EnrightIn North American Indian culture, the word 'Medicine' is often used to define the unique gifts of each person. It is considered a tragedy when people don't take the time to explore those gifts or don't have the confidence to express them. It is for this reason that I take the risk to express my truth in writing. Some years ago I lost my voice for a time and in the journey back to speaking again, I discovered that 'voicing' one's 'Truth' is a healing and health-enhancing gift that I once took for granted. Writing, art, taking journeys in nature and guiding life-transforming adventures, are my 'medicine'. This blog is an expression of this 'medicine'. I trust that the words I write, might inspire you to think about your 'truth' and your 'gifts' and I hope that you enjoy some of the 'adventures' I share. Archives
