An Indigenous Perspective on Nature & Health
Uncle Ken is a proud Boandik Man from South Australia. He tells the 'story of the dolphin' and the 'coming of the ants', drawing parallels with the current world pandemic and our disconnection with nature and each other. These stories shared by Uncle Ken, offer deep wisdom about the power of connection with nature and community, and the importance of caring for the land, our home. This respect for country and each other must be restored if we are to be well. Uncle Ken, also shares the four pillars of Aboriginal society and suggests that a society's commitment to the four pillars, determines the health of the individuals, families, animals and land that make up the whole.
