"We either step forward into learning  & growth or backward into safety. "
Abraham Maslow

Welcome to Base Camp Wellbeing
By Free Spirit True North (W & G Enright)

How we respond to the current crisis and support each other as we go through the recovery, will define how strongly we emerge as we establish the 'new normal'. In some ways, this is like climbing a high-altitude mountain: establishing a Base Camp from which we can climb, establish camps further up the mountain, retreat for rest, renewal and resupply of resources to climb again and make it further up the mountain to the next camp. As we acclimatise to the new atmosphere, we become stronger and more resilient. Descending from the peak is always the most dangerous phase of a mountainous journey. Base Camp Wellbeing is here to support you with communication, resources and a safe place to retreat to when you need rest, renewal and encouragement.

Responding to the Storm
By Free Spirit True North (W & G Enright)

Some years ago I lost my voice for a time which lead to losing my sense of identity, value, confidence and economic certainty for a few years.  It was a long journey back with many blessings along the way. I feel that this prepared me for the current circumstances and so in this webinar my partner Gabrielle and I share some thoughts on dealing with a crisis that is multi-layered in its impact and how to navigate setbacks as we take the journey to healing ourselves and our world. New World Chaos, requires the ability to respond constructively to unexpected challenges by mindfully regulating our emotions while we consider our choices and the best way forward. In this webinar we look at how our brains respond in a crisis as the storm rages around us, how we can calm our survival reactions and come from a place of choice and response-ability to navigate the challenging terrain ahead.

Reframing the way we Think, Work and Live
Produced by Free Spirit True North

The current global crisis has shaken our collective 'snow domes' and the way we think, work and live will never be the same. Working from home can be challenging at the best of times and requires us to manage our time and energy wisely. As many of us take the tentative steps back to working in a new way, there will be a mix of workplace and home-based work environments with new rules we must adapt to. In this webinar, Wayne and Gabrielle Enright share lessons gleaned from 20 years of experience working from home and challenge us to reframe or re-wire the way we think, work and live.

Mastering the Mind During Challenging Times
By Free Spirit True North (W & G Enright)

This webinar looks at where our mind goes when 'normal' patterns of behaviour are disrupted. We explore the distinctions between automatic negative thoughts and performance enhancing thoughts. Our initial reaction to disruption is to retreat into a fixed mindset in response to our automatic survival instincts but we can choose to focus on the opportunities for growth in adversity and then go a step further where we focus beyond our own needs to a 'Benefit Mindset' - thinking more about how we can benefit the whole. Managing our mind to steer away from distraction toward finding traction with the thinking and behavioural habits that will benefit us all as we find our feet again, is a crucial skill that can take us from surviving to thriving.

Maintaining Well-Being & Resilience in the Face of Adversity  By Free Spirit True North (W & G Enright)

During times of adversity we are taken to places physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and socially, that are a long way from our comfort zone. At times like this, it is difficult to keep our head above water and to bend and flex without breaking. This is the most important time for us to be fit, healthy and resilient.

What are the key ingredients for well-being, particularly when we're under pressure? How can we develop enough resilience, so that when the gale-force winds blow, we are able to flex and stay deeply rooted in the ground of our life, without becoming irreparably damaged?

In this webinar, we cover a 'Wheel of Well-Being' which provides guidance and a tool to assess your life balance and wellness, helping you to identify goals for re-enforcing the foundations of your well-being and resilience, so that you can stand tall, strong and flexible in times of adversity.

Free Spirit Wellbeing - The Extended Version
A comprehensive look at the Wheel of Well-being

It is challenging at the best of times to maintain our wellbeing while balancing the multiple demands of our work and personal life. During times of major disruption and adversity, it is even more important to boost our wellbeing and strengthen our resilience, so that we can face and adapt to the physical, mental, social and environmental challenges we may be confronted with.

In this webinar, we explore the 'medicine wheel' or 'wheel of health', offering tips on how to achieve a holistic balance in different areas of our life which impact wellbeing. We look at resilience, energy management, nutrition and exercise, mindfulness, purpose, mental health and some of the keys to healthy relationships - How can we strengthen these vital areas of our wellbeing, so that we are able to cope constructively with the challenges ahead?
